Michael Palin packs his bags in this sequel to his round the world in 80 days adventure. This time his journey takes him from the North Pole to the South Pole, in as direct a route as possible, taking him through the eastern part of Africa.
Review :
Just like every other time Palin has done a travelogue, this is well worth watching. Funny, informative, engrossing and above all fun, this mini-series was an instant classic when it was filmed in 1991.
If you liked watching Palin go around the world in 80 days (And really - who didn't?) then I suggest you give this one a try too... for that matter, I'll go ahead and tell you right now - all of Palin's travelogues are worth a watch!

This was a good miniseries. He was able to take time to explore and recorded some amazing things.
